History

It was October 20, 2014 when the FDA Advisory Committee recommended the approval of secukinumab for treating plaque psoriasis. On November 10, 2014, its Novartis presented first IL-17A Phase III data for secukinumab in psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Novartis Pharma AG is the manufacturer of the drug.
